Jakarta Regional Disaster Handling Agency Assist Fire Victims in Manggarai

The Jakarta Regional Disaster Handling Agency assisted the fire victim at RW 06 and RW 12 of Manggarai Urban Village, Tebet Sub-district, South Jakarta.

We also distributed 300 packages of breakfast

Jakarta Regional Disaster Handling Agency Head, Isnawa Adji, said various aids had been distributed such as 40 boxes of mineral water, 300 pcs of blanket, 100 pcs of mukena, 100 pcs of sarong, 91 packages of family kit, kidsware 200 packages, clothing by 43 packages, and 100 pieces of tarpaulin.

"We also distributed 300 packages of breakfast for residents taking refugee," he said, Tuesday (8/13).

Based on temporary data, 3,019 people out of 1,050 families have moved to safer place.

"There were seven people injured during the incident," he added.

According to him, the refugee camps are at Infinia warehouse, Jalan Minangkabau; Al Falah Mosque at RW 07; and SDN 05 Manggarai at RW 09.

"Now we're adding the tent for them," he continued.

Meanwhile, South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Syamsul Huda, stated the fire occurred at 02:40 AM.

"We deployed 35 firetrucks with 120 personnel to extinguish the fire," he stated.
